We are thrilled to welcome you to the MAS family.  Click here for the Film Workshop.  If you purchased the $40 for $80 option you can choose from the following classes:  Acting 1, Improv 1, Kids Acting 1, or Teens Acting 1.  Look under Classes for more information.  Your Groupon can be used for the Fall Semester starting in September or for the Winter Semester starting mid-January.  We look forward to seeing you at the studio!

Improvisation

Improv I

Through fun exercises and games (Whose Line Is It Anyway) students will learn the art of Improv Comedy. This fun, fast paced eight week class is a must for everyone from the serious actor to the person looking for something new and fun to do. If you are looking to learn, laugh and have fun this is the class for you. The great thing about improv training is that it gets people out of their heads and using the creative side of the brain. So, come play with us.

Improv II

The fun and exciting class will focus on Character, Scenework, Games and Improvisation for perfromance. After the 8 week course is completed the class will perform a fully improvised show on the MAS stage.

Improv_III

Students will continue working with genre and style and will be introduced to advanced character games and scenework.  An introduction to long form improv is included in this fast paced class.  This class will take you to the next level.

This class ends with a performance on the MAS stage.

Advanced Improv I

Genres, styles, advanced character games, scene work and much more will be covered in this class. Character will be the main focus and the use of the five point technique will be taught.

The class ends with a performance on the MAS stage.

Advanced Improv II (Long Form)

All 8 weeks will cover long form technique and games. Learn how to quickly make creative, fresh choices and how to find the game within the scene. Truly understand the long form technique as we break it down for you easily and in a fun way.

At the completion of this class students will perform at a local venue.
