Chip Kipps

Chip Kipps has been a recording engineer in the Detroit area for the last 30 years. As a producer, he’s worked with and directed many of Detroit’s greatest voice actors at Ron Rose Productions. You may have heard Chip locally as the voice of Jet’s Pizza or in numerous commercials—he “that guy”. He is also involved in the music scene in Detroit, writing and recording with The Derricks, The Overnights and the Stewart Francke Band. Chip is excited to be teaching at Michigan Actors Studio and looks forward to bringing his years of directing expertise and practical knowledge to his students.
